Glittering illuminations light up the long winter nights

Swarovski Kristallwelten (Swarovski Crystal Worlds) have already been transformed into a mysterious and luminous fairytale landscape, and the Giant greets its guests with the splendid Christmas tree, crowned with Tord Boontje’s radiant ornament. The Winter Wonderland at Swarovski Crystal Worlds is a further highlight, available to admire until January 22, 2017. The Dutch designer’s atmospheric installation creates a magical backdrop with its sparkling sculptures and playful messages, including “Time to smile” and “Have fun.”

TIP: Don’t miss the Festival of Light being held for the first time, illuminating the garden of the Giant and inspiring the senses from January 30 to February 19, 2017.

Winter in the Giant
Family Sundays in Advent

The wide range of events for the entire family and for creative spirits of all ages is a very special highlight in the realm of the Giant this winter. Families are invited to take part in festive activities together on each Sunday in Advent, whether designing window decorations, decorating gingerbread houses, or celebrating the Saint Lucy festival of light. The workshops and studios are equally festive, and naturally take snow, Christmas, and winter as their theme. Daniels Kristallwelten. Café & Restaurant with its in-house patisserie will be offering typical Christmas fare, with homemade Stollen, fancy Christmas cookies, and traditional Kletzenbrot.
